  Introduction to AUN Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences, Volume 1, Issue 1

  On behalf of the editorial team, it is with great pleasure that I present the first edition of the AUN Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences (AUNJPAS), a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American University of Nigeria.
  This first issue features high-quality research findings in applied mathematics and statistics, biology, energy, and environmental sciences that are geared towards finding solutions to global issues. 
  I am extremely proud of our editorial team and reviewers for their individual and collective contributions to the success of this inaugural issue. Also, I would like to thank our highly innovative and talented authors who shared their valuable research findings with our journal.
